João Paulo Baltazar

Chief Executive Officer

João Paulo Baltazar has been leading Futerra since its inception in 2015. He is responsible for the entire operations. Previously João Paulo Baltazar served as Mayor of the Municipality of Valongo, leading 600 employees with an annual budget of €45M to manage a territory of about 100,000 persons. In this period, he was also an administrator at Lipor (a Semi-Public company that manages the waste of 8 municipalities in the Great Metropolitan Area of Porto) and has led Vallishabita, a company that manages 700 social houses in the Municipality of Valongo. Before that, João Paulo Baltazar created Cylande Iberica, a subsidiary of Cylande, a French Editor of Software for International Retail Store Networks. Under his direction, the company established itself in the Iberian Peninsula with offices in Barcelona and Porto supporting customers all over Portugal and Spain. Mr. João Paulo Baltazar graduated in IT and Management at the Universidade of Portucalense.
